Redneck Romp 10-Miler & 5K

We are excited to announce the 4th annual running of the Redneck Romp, located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in the scenic seaside waterfront Town of Wachapreague known as the flounder fishing capital of the country.

  This run is to bring awareness and raise funding for the Waste Watchers of the Eastern Shore whose goal is to keep the roadways of Virginia's Eastern Shore free of trash and litter.

The Race

The Race
The 5K route runs through the quaint seaside town of Wachapreague and the 10-mile course makes a loop south of Wachapreague starting at the waterfront. The loop includes scenic country backroads, woods and marshland and includes 1.4 miles of gravel on Frogstool Road through bucolic hunting grounds.
